Three Kings’ Parade with Sailing Sashi! Come and join the Three Kings on their journey through the Port of Barcelona from the sea aboard our Sailing Yacht Sashi, alongside Their Majesties’ vessel, the "Santa Eulalia." A 100 years old Pailebot owned by the Maritime Museum Barcelona and is contiously restored.
By 3:15 p.m. Sailing Sashi will depart Port Olimpic and take course in direction of Port Vell. Time permitting we enter the Old Port for sightseeing. There is a chance that you might see the shopping area of Port Vell Maremàgnum, the Porta d’Europa Bridge (an impressive drawbridge), the Clock Tower with the old lighthouse, the Sideroploide (an abstract sculpture from 1963 by sculptor Salvador Aulèstia, made from steel recovered from the sea). Montjuic houses the castle on top, where the current lighthouse of Barcelona (inaugurated on December 1, 1906) is located, the W Hotel designed by Architect Ricardo Bofill who also was in charge of Barcelona's airport el Prat. We will pass the cruise ships and you see the cargo port in the distance. Barcelona is the fourth-largest cruise port in the world.
This year their Majesties and entourage are scheduled to disembark their vessel Santa Eulalia in Port Olimpic which is the home port of Sailing Sashi. Don't miss this once a year event.
